The biggest difference between independent suspension and non independent suspension lies in their structure and performance. Independent suspension can better absorb uneven road surfaces, improve vehicle handling and stability, and is therefore more common in high-end models. Non independent suspension focuses more on load-bearing capacity and is suitable for some economy vehicles. Torsion beam suspension is the earliest non independent suspension that emerged, with advantages such as simple structure and low cost, but poor handling. Steel plate spring suspension provides better load-bearing capacity through multiple springs in parallel, while integral bridge suspension has high reliability and durability, but poor handling and comfort.
